I seem to be saying this about a lot of modern films–the idea has so much potential. And another thing I say frequently about modern films–they have no lovable characters. What is it about newer filmmakers that they seem to completely ignore the idea of creating characters that an audience can connect with?

All those ghost hunter shows you see on tv now are bogus nonsense. But these firsthand accounts make you wonder. I’m not convinced ghosts are real; I’m not convinced they’re not, either.

It’s an interesting idea, I suppose. Three friends get trapped in a sauna, not really sure if their drunk friend locked them inside or if something else happened. It would certainly be a frightening predicament in real life. But, this isn’t real life.
