About PC3

Patrick C. Harrison III is a horror author working at the bleeding edge of the genre, where splatterpunk brutality collides with cosmic dread and philosophical unease. Known to readers as PC3, he writes fiction that is visceral, transgressive, and unflinchingly honest—stories that stare directly into the abyss and dare the reader to stare back.

His body of work spans extreme horror, speculative fiction, black comedy, and psychological terror. Titles such as 100% Match, Grandpappy, A Savage Breed, Fissure Face, and Vampire Nuns Behind Bars showcase his range, from pitch-black satire to savage emotional horror. He has written more fifteen books, and his short stories can be found in numerous anthologies.

Influenced by classic splatterpunk, grindhouse cinema, and the darker corners of human psychology, PC3 brings both pulp energy and thematic depth to his work. His stories often blend brutality with unexpected humanity, examining grief, humor, power, and survival beneath the blood and chaos. And he doesn’t cover your eyes in the messy parts. He crafts full contact fiction, in other words.

PC3 has curated six anthologies, including the Spatterpunk Award-winning And Hell Followed. He plans to put together more in the future.

PC3 lives, writes, runs, and smokes cigars in Wolfe City, Texas, where friends and family are everything, summer heat is oppressive, and monsters—real and imagined—never feel very far away. As he writes, two wiener dogs run around at PC3’s feet, occasionally jumping in his lap. (He blames these dachshunds for any errors in his work.)

Please feel free to reach out to PC3 at pc3@pc3horror.com. Whether you have questions about his work or you’re a new writer in search of advice, he’s always happy to respond. If you are curating an anthology and wish to inquire about a contribution from PC3, please note his rate is $0.08/word.

At this time PC3 is no longer taking editing jobs–he has books to write!
